Split a PDF into several files, or pull out only the pages you need. The file never leaves your device.
Choose the PDF
or drop it here
Tap the pages you want. They go into a new PDF, in that order.
Each page becomes its own PDF, all inside a .zip.
Processed in this browser: your file is never uploaded to any server. Turn on airplane mode once the page has loaded and it keeps working. Check it yourself
How to use it
- Choose the PDF.
- Pick how: tap the pages you want, type ranges, or separate every page.
- Tap “Split”. If you get several files, they download together in a .zip.
Four ways to split
- Extract pages: select the ones you want (say, pages 2 and 7) and they come out as a new PDF. The original stays as it was.
- By ranges: type
1-3, 4-8, 9and you get three files. Handy for a scan that holds several documents. - Every page: one PDF per page.
- Every few pages: for example every 2 pages, to separate double-sided documents.
You can also write a range backwards (5-1) to get the pages in reverse order, or use end for the last page (3-end).
Questions
Does splitting lose quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are, without being redrawn.
How do I remove a few pages from a PDF?
Use “Extract pages” and select every page you want to keep, or delete pages one by one in Organize PDF.
Can I split a large PDF?
Yes. Page previews load only as they come into view, which keeps a document of several hundred pages responsive.
