Crop PDF

Trim the white margins of every page, or keep only the area you draw. You see the result before downloading, and the PDF never leaves your device.

Processed in this browser: your file is never uploaded to any server. Turn on airplane mode once the page has loaded and it keeps working. Check it yourself

How to use it

  1. Choose the PDF.
  2. Keep “Trim white margins”, or pick “Choose the area” and drag it over the page. Whatever falls outside is shaded.
  3. Tap “Crop and download”.

Two ways to crop

  • Trim white margins: great for reading a PDF on a phone without zooming, or for a scan with wide borders. Each page is cropped on its own, around its content.
  • Choose the area: to keep just a table, a chart or half a sheet. Apply it to every page or only the one you’re viewing, and see the result’s size in millimeters.

Good to know

  • Rotated pages crop correctly: the area is taken as you see the page.
  • What falls outside no longer shows or prints, but it stays inside the file, as with any program that crops PDFs. If that part holds private data, remove it with Redact PDF.
  • Text stays text: you can still select and search it.

Questions

Does cropping make the PDF smaller?

Barely: the cropped-off part is still in the file. To shrink it, use Compress PDF.

Can I crop just one page?

Yes. Pick “Choose the area”, then “This page only”, and draw the area on that page. The rest stay as they were.
