HEIC to PDF

Turn the HEIC photos from your iPhone into a single PDF, in any browser and on any computer. They open on your device: nothing is uploaded.

Choose your HEIC photos

or drop them here · you can pick several at once

Processed in this browser: your photos are never uploaded to any server. Once your first HEIC photo has opened, you can turn on airplane mode and it keeps working. Check it yourself

How to use it

  1. Choose your HEIC photos (or drop them in). You can mix in JPG or PNG too.
  2. Drag them, or use the arrows, until they’re in the right order; then choose A4, Letter or the photo’s own size.
  3. Tap “Create PDF”. It downloads right away and nothing is uploaded.

HEIC photos without converting them first

iPhones save photos as HEIC, a format most Windows and Android browsers can’t open. You don’t need to export them as JPG first: choose the .heic files as they come off the phone and the PDF is ready.

  • Upright, every time: we read the rotation the iPhone saves, so a photo taken in portrait stays in portrait.
  • Bursts and multi-image files: if a HEIC file holds several pictures, each one gets its own page, in order.
  • Many photos at once: pick a whole set in one go. In our test, 120 photos of 12 megapixels (85 MB) opened in 23 seconds on a desktop computer, and the PDF was ready 35 seconds later.
  • Damaged files: if a photo is incomplete (a download cut short, say), it’s marked in red with a clear message, and the rest still work.
  • Live Photos: the PDF takes the still photo; the short video stays on your phone.

How it works

HEIC photos are opened with libheif, an open-source library (LGPL-3.0), which runs inside your browser. It’s only downloaded when you choose a HEIC photo, and we use it unmodified. Its license and source code are listed under credits and licenses (in Spanish).

Questions

How many HEIC photos can I convert at once?

We don’t set a limit: your device’s memory does. In our test (October 2026, Chrome on a desktop computer), 40 photos of 12 megapixels opened in 7 seconds and became a PDF in 12, using under 700 MB of memory. 120 photos took about a minute in total and 1.5 GB. A phone has much less memory, so go in smaller batches there.

Are my iPhone photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The photos are opened and turned into a PDF on your own device. You can check it: open your browser’s developer tools (F12), go to the Network tab and convert a photo. No request carries it out.

Can I mix HEIC with JPG or PNG?

Yes. Every image gets its own page, in the order you set, whatever its format.
