How to use it
- Choose the PDF.
- Draw your signature, or pick a photo of it.
- Tap the page where it goes, adjust it and tap “Sign and download”.
What kind of signature this is
It’s a simple electronic signature: an image of your signature placed on the document, just as if you printed it, signed it with a pen and scanned it. It works wherever a signed and scanned document is accepted: a lease between two people, a permission slip, a company form.
It is not a certificate-based digital signature (sometimes called advanced or qualified). Those rely on a digital certificate issued by an authorized provider, and some official procedures require them. If yours does, this tool doesn’t replace it.
General information, not legal advice. If you’re unsure which signature a document needs, ask whoever is going to receive it.
Good to know
- Your signature is drawn and kept only in this tab. Close it and it’s gone: we never store it.
- You can sign several pages: move with the arrows and tap each page where it goes.
- The rest of the PDF stays the same, and its text can still be copied and searched.

No. There’s nothing to install and nothing to sign up for: it works in any modern browser.
Can I sign a password-protected PDF?
Remove the password first with Unlock PDF (you’ll need to know it), then sign the file here.
